Shotcrete is more commonly known as sprayed concrete. Over the 30+ year's Pioneer Pool & Building have constructed over 1000 swimming pools throughout the South Island. This coupled with success in using this technology for other applications such as building re-strengthening, skate board parks, feature walls, retaining walls, houses (ProPassive) make Pioneer professionals in this method of construction.

An example of this work was the strengthening of Ivey Hall at Lincoln University. This involved spraying concrete to the interior walls of the building on all three levels. The first time this had been tried and proven in New Zealand.
